A first eat out experience for Harrington House was launched on a Friday night, with a dusk sky looking bruised amidst the rumbling threats of a storm trying to gain ground in the background.
It is the launch for the Steak Evening, a new
Rob Ortlepp, a highly respected cattleman who has judged beef all over the continent, has sourced the finest cuts and quality steak available for this experience for his guests.
We are starting off quite simply, so rather than having a vast menu to choose from, we are offering a limited choice of cuts that will be expanded in time.
says Rob.
The bar is open and bustling as the guests purchase drinks while waiting for their steaks to be perfectly seared on the special grill.
The bar area is where the meal is hosted and the guests gather around with their drinks, conversing about the week that has past and being teased by the delicious smell of braaing meat wafting through from the kitchen.
Soon, everyone is seated and looking pleased as their food is presented and ready to eat. As with any good meal, the noise level dips and the sound of the music mixes with the sound of cutlery on plates, along with appreciative murmurs.
